Desiderata

Go placidy Amid the noise and haste, And remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible without surrender be on good terms with all persons. Speak your truth quietly and clearly;and listen to others, even the dull and ignorant; they too have their story.   Avoid loud and aggressive persons, they are vexations to the spirit. If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain and bitter; for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself. Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans. Keep interested in your own career, however humble; It is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time. Exercise caution in your business affairs; for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals; and everywhere life is full of heroism.  Be yourself. Especially, do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love;for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment it is perennial as the grass. Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth. Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness. Beyond a wholseome dicipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe,no less than the trees and the stars; you have the right to be here. And wether or not it is clear to you,no doubt the universe is unflolding as it should. Therfore be at peace with God whatever you conceive him to be, and whatever your labours and aspirations,in the noisy confusion of life keep peace with your soul. With all it's sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world be careful.  Strive to be happy

Put me together: Guardian at the gate Proveli Paragon FT Audio Machine

Arlo's got an Uncle Snoopy vibe in this video....   These homies are making Africa Proud...

LET ME TELL YOU A LIL STORY ABOUT

A HYPOCRITE WHO   WROTE AN INTERESTING ARTICLE FOR "BANG MAGAZINE"

I (Proveli Paragon)
was interviewed by "Bang" magazine when I first touched down in the motherland, everything was going good. They said the interview went very well.... oh it's one of the best..

Next thing you know they completely cut me out without explanation and I thought..... well   maybe they just didn't like my music which is totally understandable in my books because you can't please everybody especially when you clutch a pen to voice your thoughts honestly.
So I brushed it off and remained a fan of "Bang" magazine and even bought a copy and was having fun  until I came across an article that opened my eyes to see what was really going on.

ISSUE NO 35
PAGE 41
Everytime you buy a branded product you buy the promise of what the brand stands for
What you are known for is a promise that you will behave in a particular manner. If you are known for being honest, people will entrust you with their assets and with their secrets.
(UP TO THAT POINT THEY HAD ME ..... I WAS LIKE THIS IS THE GOOD STUFF)

Contrary to popular belief, IMAGE IS NOT EVERYTHING.   Image is like a reputation
-who people think you are.your character is who you really are. Note the difference. you are responsible for you are responsible for your destiny. The world owes you nothing!

Packaging yourself:

Packaging is part of the promise of branding. That is why some organizations have uniforms to easily identify them.

Would you be comfortable investing all your money with a finacial advisor with tattooed arms and a NOSE RING.....   eeeerrrrrrr(tires screeching)       I STOP RIGHT THERE FOR A SEC.

I THOUGHT OF THE FACT THAT I AM THE ONLY TANZANIAN MAN WITH A NOSE RING AND I HAPPEN TO HAVE TATTOOS ON MY ARMS.

I AM A RECORDING ARTIST AND MOST OF MY FANS DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE FACT THAT I HAVE A JEWEL ON MY FACE AND HAVE TATTS ON MY BODY LIKE AN ART EXHIBIT.

If i was trying to be their financial advisor  then sure they could still cut me out and wouldn't mind .......  but didn't they just say
IMAGE IS NOT EVERYTHING.

Now as humans we all tend to contradict ourselves once in a while because that's how we grow.

BUT IT'S SAD WHEN YOU COME ACROSS A  PURE  HYPOCRITE.

Then they went ahead and put another rapper who happened to have dredlocks....  which has become more acceptable.
But back when I had hair and had it braided up like snoop Dogg . people cursed my name.

I have already accepted the fact that here In Tanzania I might never get the props the same way as when I was far far away.
This is my own crucifixion.
