The Dark Knight Rises

I'm a big fan  of Batman begins, The Dark knight  and I have a feeling I'm going to like Dark knight Rises.  I like how they blend fantasy with realism. There are many ways you can relate to the characters,It's fun to decode them the deeper you get into the movie.

The Dark Knight Rises is an upcoming superhero film directed by Christopher Nolan and written by Nolan and his brother Jonathan. Based on the DC Comics character Batman, the film will be the third installment in Nolan's Batman film series, and is a sequel to Batman Begins (2005) and The Dark Knight (2008). It stars Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, and Morgan Freeman as Batman/Bruce Wayne, Alfred Pennyworth, James Gordon, and Lucius Fox, respectively. The film will take place eight years after the events of The Dark Knight and will introduce the characters of Selina Kyle and Bane—portrayed by Anne Hathaway and Tom Hardy—two villains from the Batman mythology.[1]
Nolan was initially hesitant about returning to the series for a third time, but agreed to come back after developing a story with his brother and David S. Goyer that he felt would conclude the series on a satisfactory note. Filming has taken place across the world, including locations in India, London, Glasgow, Los Angeles, New York, Newark, and Pittsburgh. Nolan is utilizing IMAX cameras for more of the filming to optimize the quality of the picture. As with The Dark Knight, viral marketing campaigns began early during production to help promote the upcoming film. The Dark Knight Rises is scheduled for release in the United Kingdom, United States, and Canada on July 20, 2012, by Warner Bros.[2][3]

Following the death of District Attorney Harvey Dent, Batman assumes responsibility for Dent's crimes in order to protect Dent's reputation and is hunted as a fugitive by the Gotham City Police Department. Eight years after the events of The Dark Knight, Gotham has recovered from the Joker's killing spree, and is experiencing a time of peace. A warning from the "enigmatic" Selina Kyle foreshadows a coming cataclysm, prompting Batman to return to the city where he must stop the villain Bane and his plans to destroy Gotham.[4][5][6]

Warner Bros. president of production Jeff Robinov had hoped a third film would be released in 2011 or 2012.[37] Nolan wanted the story for the third installment to keep him emotionally invested. "On a more superficial level, I have to ask the question," he reasoned, "how many good third movies in a franchise can people name?"[38] Nolan only agreed to a third film on the basis of finding a worthwhile story, fearing that he would become bored halfway through production if he discovered the film to be unnecessary.[39] By December 2008, Nolan completed a rough story outline, before he committed himself to Inception.[40] Later in December, Alan F. Horn confirmed that while discussions with Nolan about a third film were ongoing, no casting had been done, and Horn denied all such rumors.[41] Before Nolan confirmed his involvement, Oldman had said he was confident Nolan would return.[42] It was not until February 9, 2010 that it was announced that Nolan had "cracked" the story of a sequel to The Dark Knight and was committed to return to the project.[43] Shortly afterward, it was announced David S. Goyer and Jonathan Nolan were working on a screenplay.[44] Goyer would leave the project during pre-production to begin work on Man of Steel; Jonathan continued writing the script based on the story by his brother Chris and Goyer.[9] The film's storyline takes influence from the story arcs in the Batman comics The Dark Knight Returns, Knightfall and No Man’s Land.[45]

Nolan confirmed the Joker would not return in the third film, and dismissed rumors that he considered using unused footage of Heath Ledger from The Dark Knight.[46] The Dark Knight Rises will reunite Nolan with many of his past collaborators, including Cinematographer Wally Pfister, production designer Nathan Crowley, editor Lee Smith, costume designer Lindy Hemming, special effects supervisors Paul Franklin and Chris Corbould, and composer Hans Zimmer.[47]

The film has an estimated budget of $250 million.[48] Nolan has elected not to film in 3-D, but has instead stated that he intends to focus on improving image quality and scale using the IMAX format.[49] The Dark Knight Rises will feature more scenes shot in IMAX than The Dark Knight;[50] Nolan's wife and co-producer Emma Thomas stated that the film will have between forty and fifty minutes of footage shot in IMAX (by comparison, The Dark Knight contained thirty minutes), depending on the editing process.[51] Nolan has had several meetings with IMAX Vice-President David Keighley to work on the logistics of projecting films in digital IMAX venues.[50] Wally Pfister had expressed interest in shooting the film entirely in IMAX,[52] but because of the considerable noise made by IMAX cameras, 35mm and 70mm cameras had to be used for shooting the film's dialogue scenes,[51][50] as dialogue had to be dubbed when shot with IMAX cameras.[53]
Filming was scheduled to start in May and conclude in November 2011.[54] Principal photography commenced on May 6, 2011, in Jodhpur, India at the Mehrangarh Fort[55][56] before moving to Pittsburgh, where it operated under the working title "Magnus Rex".[57][58] Shooting locations within the city included Heinz Field, the site of an American football game,[59] with members of the Pittsburgh Steelers playing the Gotham Rogues football team.[32][33] Filming in Pittsburgh also took place at the Mellon Institute and Software Engineering Institute at Carnegie Mellon University.[58] A letter sent out to residents and business owners detailing road closures revealed that the streets of the city would be featured "as the start of [the] film".[60] 9-1-1 operators were told to expect an increase in calls related to gun shots and explosions in the film's production.[61] The Pittsburgh leg of production wrapped after three weeks on August 21, 2011, before moving on to Los Angeles and New York.[62] In November 2011, shooting shifted to Newark, New Jersey.[63][64] Newark City Hall and Military Park were among the locations used for filming.[65] Other shooting locations include London and Glasgow, the latter of which was used for "additional exterior filming".[66] Principal photography concluded on November 14, 2011.[67]
Production photos from filming in Pittsburgh showed a second Tumbler chassis after the first was destroyed in The Dark Knight.[68] Further set photos revealed a "new vehicle" being transported to Wabash Tunnel, prompting speculation as to its nature.[69] In June 2011, Autoblog confirmed the presence of the new Lamborghini Aventador on the film set.[70] Several accidents occurred during the production of the film. While filming at Wollaton Hall, a tractor-trailer crashed into the main entrance, though no one was injured.[71] A stuntman parachutist later crashed through the roof of a home in Cairngorm Gliding Club, Feshiebridge in Scotland, and became wedged there after a failed landing during a skydiving stunt; he was not seriously injured.[72] While filming scenes in Pittsburgh, Hathaway's stunt double crashed into an IMAX camera while filming a sequence that required her to ride a Batpod down a flight of stairs during a riot. There were no injuries, but the camera was destroyed.[73] A second accident took place in Pittsburgh when the truck carrying the new, unidentified vehicle went off-course and crashed into a lighting array, damaging the model of the aircraft. Production was delayed while the model was repaired.[74]

Outside yourself

Hello and welcome again to Provelistic entertainment.  Even if it's your first time that's fine... I am your host  Proveli Van Paragon,

I came across the status of a young talented rock star I had the privilege of meeting a few times while I was in Canada.(The red limit" at the time)   Greg Mathews had a very interesting question that sparked some interesting answers.

 Greg.

What is the best advice you would give new musicians breaking through the mold?
Answers :Isa Astorga
Never lose your identity - always keep the integrity of your product stand behind it - never follow the trend - learn how to properly brand and market your product - and always make sure you are fully aware of what is going on at all times to ensure that you are in control of your identifier - that is all

Francisco Arturo Romero Jr losing a part of the ego that makes you selfish and become more realistic and in tune with the audience. same thing i tell dj's. you need ego, cause thats character. and you have to please your audience, not please yourself. the stage is right in front of you. so many times i see dj's dancing with a feeling while the audience just stands there not feeling it.

Naomi Carmack No matter how many times someone feeds your ego with compliments, send out the same to another. No matter how much God given talent you have, you are no better than anyone else. And ALWAYS listen to a soundman who's 20 years older than you. He knows what the fuck he's doing.

Shaun O'Neil being popular and understood today will only mean your work will be that much closer to meaningless tomorrow. its the ones that break the mold and choose their art over popularity and success that will have their creations that will live on - look at all the greats... they were never appreciated in their own time as they are today...

Ponder on this

Euphoria pulls the trigger
Shooting us towards a race against time.
I am not bigger
So i have to be stronger
For the weak shall perish with no significance
Unoticed like a single drop of water in the shower
However the race ends or begins
The chosen one wins
Only if the path is right.
To claim the prize within a circle of life
That may never live.
There's a million
But if i am the chosen one,
Take all i have to give
Because i blindly do this for you
Let my struggle and death be the begining of something new.
If i'm the one in a million.

Music listening and enjoyment, musical memory and how engaged with music a person is are also apects of a musical mind a musical personality.

Irving Berlin, one of  the most successul composers of the 20th century, was a lousy instrumentalist and could barely play the piano.

Even among the elit, top tier classical musicians, there is more to being a musician than having excellent technique

Both Athur Rubinstein and Vladimir Horowitz are widely regarded as two of the greatest pianists of the twentieth century but they made mistakes- little technical mistakes-suprisingly often. A wrong not, a rushed note that isn't fingered properly. But as one critic wrote "Rubinstein makes mistakeson some of his records, but I'll take those interpretations that are filled with passion over the 20-two year old technical wizard who can play the notes but can't convey the meaning.

so in  a scientific sense-why are some musicians superior to others when it comes to emotional(verses the techinical) dimension of music? This is the great mystery, and no one knows for sure.

Interviews with, and diary entries of musicians ranging from Beethoven,Micheal Jackson, stevie wonder to Tupac suggest that part of communicating emotion involves technical, mechanical factors and part of it involves something that remains mysterious.

Monitoring

The truth is....It's not only your parents that spy on you using facebook and other social networks.
I think this has it's pros and cons.  It does make it easier to catch the bad guys I agree but somoetimes profiling somone you only know on the internet may not be fair.
Sometimes you may say something silly or even quite violent because you feel like your friends will either get the humor or maybe it was a line from a rap song or Movie
They could just look up your status and for example that day you woke up listening to Tupac shakur you might quote  "Take a look picture a crook on his last stand motherfuckers don't understand if i die tonight"
that doesn't mean that's how you really feel.
They could take one look at that and decide you are a criminal when you could easy just be a student.

I personally don't mind so much because as an entertainer it just means there is a bigger audience and since these social networks are being taken soooo seriously then by the time you are gone.
what you leave behind in cyber space could be part of how you live on.
All I'm saying is that they should atleast let people know. Good thing they are atleast admiting it

Stuff to think about

In some places like Tanzania,Some people have customer service issues.
Imagine after seing the sign that there are no cellphones allowed then have your gas pumped by someone on the phone.   It is extremely pathetic.  This happened at the petrol station closest to the Mlimani city mall in Dar es salaam.

Most couples are honestly just bored of each other.  "Hey lets go to a beach resort and ignore the waves and stuff because we'll just be over here reading a book.  Like we can't do this at home.
she looks like the type that can actually make a bathing suit look good and dude is letting her get away with it. If that was me this bitch would be finding nemo by now.

Ps: for those monitoring these social networks  you know this is just jokes right.   In life you can never lose your sense of humor
(Mbalamwezi beach resort,Dar es salaam)

Here we have a very Typical situation for Dar. As you can see the bus is soo packed that some passengers are actually hanging outside the bus.  Bitches and gentlemen  this is exactly how very fucked up accidents happen. Like going beyond capacity is supposed to make you so much richer that you are willing to risk peoples lives

MALARIA
In Tanzania, malaria remains one of the major causes of illness and death. The disease causes major obstacles to social and economic development. The extent of the problem is greatest among children less than five years of age and pregnant women. Malaria has been estimated to cost Tanzania more than US$ 240 million every year in lost gross domestic product, although it can be controlled for a fraction of that sum. Tanzania has actively participated in malaria research and in developing most control tools. However, the use of such tools and scaling up of effective interventions has been a major challenge. Major system constraints include inadequate human, financial, material resources, as well as an inefficient health care system. With an increasing burden with human immunodeficiency virus/acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (HIV/AIDS), there has been a shift in the use of resources whereby more prioritization is given to interventions for HIV/AIDS than for malaria. The country is faced with several challenges including diagnosis, treatment, and control measures. Districts are faced with the inability to generate reliable information needed to make decisions to inform policy and lack skills for priority setting and planning. Budget allocation is not done according to evidence-based priorities, thus leading to stagnation over time. In this report, we present some success stories and discuss the challenges facing scaling up of interventions and propose priority areas to solving the problems.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

Malaria remains one of the major threats to public health and economic development in Africa. It is estimated that three million deaths result from malaria throughout the world, with Africa having more than 90% of this burden.1 The burden of malaria in Tanzania, in particular, remains high. Every year, 14–18 million new malaria cases are reported in Tanzania, resulting in 120,000 deaths. Of these deaths, 70,000 are in children less than five years of age. The annual incidence rate is 400–500/1,000 people and this number doubles for children less than five years of age. Malaria is the leading cause of outpatients, inpatients, and admissions of children less than five years of age at health facilities.2 Malaria is considered to be the major cause of the loss of economic productivity in persons 15–56 years of age and an impediment to learning capacity of people 5–25 years of age.3 The disease is one of the most important obstacles to economic development and foreign investment in Tanzania.
The United Republic of Tanzania has a population of 37.4 million, 90% of whom are at risk of malaria, with endemicity and risk of transmission varying as mapped recently by Mapping Malaria Risk in Africa (MARA).4 Tanzania has the third largest population at risk of stable malaria in Africa after Nigeria and Democratic Republic of Congo (MARA-lite Software 3.0.0, available from http://www.org.za/).
In terms of cost implication in relation to gross domestic product (GDP), Tanzania is considered one of poorest countries in the world (partly as a result of the burden of malaria); with an annual GDP of U.S. $280 per capita (2004), and 36% of the population living below the basic needs poverty line. Malaria is estimated to consume 3.4% of the GDP or $240 million every year.5 It is estimated that Tanzania spends $2.14 annually on malaria services of every $11 spent per person per year on health.6 Approximately 75% of the expenditure for malaria is borne by households, with the government contributing 20% and development partners 5%.7 Approximately 30% of this expenditure at the household level is spent for anti-malarial drugs and 50% for mosquito nets, insecticides, coils, and other strategies.6 The burden of malaria is greatest especially among the poor, given the vicious circle of poverty and ill health.

MALARIA CONTROL STRATEGIES IN TANZANIA

The history of malaria control in Africa dates back to the early 1900s, when malaria was seen as a major threat to development in areas where the disease was endemic. In Tanzania, colonial governments implemented a number of interventions to address the situation.8 Multiple techniques combining environmental management, effective housing designs, personal protective measures, and anti-malarial drugs were simultaneously used for malaria control. In Tanzania (formerly known as Tanganyika), malaria control efforts were initiated to protect the German colonial personnel in the late 1890s.8 Efforts were gradually increased during the British colonial era and Tanganyika participated in the malaria eradication efforts through the Pare-Taveta scheme, which conducted indoor spraying with prompt treatment.9,10 Since Tanzania became an independent country in 1961, a number of prevention, management, and control measures have been instituted. However, the initial period was marred in the confusion after cancellation of eradication efforts in 1961.

What I don't get is the fact that Tanzanians are not the only peole with mosquitos.    There are actually some pretty big ones if you go to Canada but there's no big Malaria burden
Africa just carries 90% of the burden.   All I am saying is that malaria can be defeated.

I contimplated sharing this pic..and I'm not sure of it's origine...I hope to not offend but to make aware, of the evil that takes place in our world, and WHY we need to open our eyes to this, and FIGHT...to change it...violance isn't always the first means, however, is this why we have military?..should we mind our own bizz when it comes to knoiwng this? Does this really happen..YES..and worse...what can we do? while not oppressing the people of other lands...what can we do..please...tell me..
